Merry Christmas, one and all!
First, we present pictures of before and after the great unwrapping. (We lack coverage of the actual event because Henry set a frenetic pace.)
Next, for your consideration, a video of finding what Santa left us, followed by a Christmas skate on the pond.

Soggy Cape Cod weekend
Despite uninvited guest Tropical Storm Danny, we had ourselves a fine time with the Bromstead and Reuter clans.

Maine and Montshire
Earlier in August, we visited Gaba and Granny in Maine. Back in NH, we (minus Mom) hit the Montshire Museum (technically, it's in VT) with Fiona's friend Beatrice.

Rowell St. Wiffle Ball
The Elliott Family Wiffle Tee is a big hit with our two young lefties.
And while I have you, let me welcome you to our blog's new template, which allows HD video frames to fit on the page. And, as a bonus, larger photo slideshows. Just my little way of bringing you closer to my adoring family.

The training wheels come off!
Fiona insisted that we take her training wheels off her bike this weekend. She was convinced she was ready to ride a two-wheeler. Dad, not as convinced that Fiona--who is known to fall down while simply standing on two feet--was ready to make the leap, first tried to reach a compromise by raising the training wheels to provide a wee bit less support than she was accustomed to. After two laps around the block with the raised training wheels, Fiona again declared she was ready to take 'em off. How'd our girl do? The answer may surprise you.

Henry refuses to acknowledge his parents by name
We suspect Henry can speak but simply refuses to do so. Call him a conscientious objector to speech. Watch for yourself.

Spring skiing at Pats Peak
Two weeks ago, Dad and Fiona hit Pats Peak where we ran into our next-door neighbor Karen and Boris the purple bear. Fiona shows off her newest alpine skill: turning!

At Pat's Peak with Fiona and the Flip video camera
Fiona and Dad hit Pat's Peak today, riding the lift for the first time this year. And for the first time ever, Fiona went all the way to the summit. (Not pictured: the long, grueling, tear-filled fifth and final run of the day.)
One programming note: this is the first video shot and movie created with our new Flip video camera. Thanks Tom and Sue!
